Pablo Mari is interested to stay with Arsenal for a couple more seasons. He in a recent interview said that he wants to sign a deal with the Gunners. He was transferred from Flamengo on loan to the club for the season 2019–2020 in the winter transfer.

The 26-year-old had only the chance for two appearances before the football activity was suspended due to coronavirus pandemic. Despite the rare opportunity, he is looking forward to extent his stay in the club. He is waiting for the resumption of Premier League to join the team and he believes Arteta will be happy to have him in the field.

The Spanish defender was under the radar of Manchester City for a long time. They were very much impressed by his game during the time period of 2016–2019. His presence in the good books of City will make Arsenal think twice of letting him go. He will be fortunate if Arsenal is ready to talk a deal with him.

“I have found myself here at Arsenal. It is a really good option for me. I want to stay here and improve as a player and a person. I want to be here for many more years,” said Mari.

Mari is sure his time with Mikel Arteta will help him to improve his style of play and there are many players with experience in the club which will help him a lot. He also has a good friendship with David Luiz. His time with Luiz is a comfortable one and they discuss about the game and have a talk on the pitch too. He certainly believes he can become a good player with his stay in Arsenal. Meanwhile, Gunners are ninthin the league table with eight points less from the fourth position.
